The audit covers3,142 reference-map county identities with explicit statuses. “Not assessed” can mean missing imports, no applicable election, incompatible geography, an unqualified round or seat, a quality hold, insufficient votes, or an unavailable denominator. - Alaska reports by election district; no unsupported county allocation is made.
- County and district boundaries change over time; 2017 map geometry is a reference.
- Unopposed races with no recorded vote totals remain distinct from missing sources.
- 2026 records are dated provisional snapshots; no certified outcome or race call is inferred.
House comparisons currently use only verified Montana and Arizona scopes. Alaska’s election-district returns are not allocated to counties. Historical FIPS changes, Connecticut county definitions, Hawaii jurisdiction differences and changing congressional boundaries require explicit treatment; reference-map presence alone proves neither comparability nor completeness.
